East Village

November 29, 2016

Welcome to San Diego’s East Village neighborhood. This vibrant area is San Diego’s largest neighborhood, encompassing 130 city blocks between 7th Avenue and 18th Street. East Village is San Diego’s most rapidly developing neighborhood. The area is teeming with growth and opportunity. Home to over 700 businesses, this bustling neighborhood has only recently been developed.

Formerly home to warehouses and empty lots, the area has experienced exponential growth and development in recent years. In the early 1990’s the area began to house many artists and creative enterprises, and growth has only increased since. Development of the neighborhood was amplified with the construction of Petco Park, the San Diego Padres world-class baseball stadium, built in 2004.

Since then, the area has exploded with growth and become a highly desirable destination for new businesses to make their home. Bursting with life and constantly growing, East Village is an exciting new neighborhood to make your home.
