Does it have the attributes that today’s buyer is looking for? Your home may be in perfect shape and ready to sell, or it may need a little bit of sprucing up before it is ready to put on the market. Take the necessary steps to ensure that your home is appealing to buyers and ready to sell before listing.

  • Put Your Home on the Market
  • Once your home is ready to sell, it’s time to put it on the market. When putting your home up for sale, it is important to thoroughly research, and select an appropriate asking price. I strongly suggest working with a realtor at this point in the process. An experienced realtor knows all the in’s and out’s of the selling process and can help to ensure it runs as simply and easily as possible.

  • Spread the Word
  • Putting your house up for sale does you no good if no one knows it is on the market. It is essential to get the word out that your home is on the market and available.   • Once you have come to an agreement, it’s time to transfer ownership from yourself to the new owner. The closing process will vary with each situation, but be prepared for lots of paperwork.
